Recently, the construction project of 2nd Phase 1580 m3/h Desalted Water Project of Zheneng Shaoxing Binhai Thermal Power Plant (“Binhai project” for short hereafter)----the largest desalted water project HWC established ever since successfully passed acceptance. Only 8 months was spent from design, manufacture, guiding installation to successful production of finished water of the first set of device, marking HWC’s another landmark breakthrough in the field of water desalination system. The project’s successful construction is advantageous to HWC’s further business expansion in the field of water desalination engineering, meanwhile, promoting technical innovation and industrial upgrade of our country, and realizing new breakthrough for energy-saving and emission-reduction and new energy source security.
The project’s Acceptance Group unanimously held that Binhai project has excellent engineering quality, and meets the contract requirements ; related technologies, equipment and parameters reach the standards, unanimously agree to passing the acceptance; in addition, the expert group for acceptance proposed some suggestions concerning problems discovered in the acceptance.
HWC signed the contract of Binhai water desalination project in March 2016, and realized a breakthrough of the largest single unit device in the field. HWC’s leaders paid high attention to the project implementation; related leaders went to the scene for multi times to understand construction conditions, and solve related problems. Under strong support by the Company, the Project Group rising to challenge overcame various difficulties, conquered many barriers and solved the problems of schedule tension caused from deferred civil work on spot. Through sincere cooperation with the project’s owners, careful planning and overall arrangement; both the parties strictly grasped project schedule in the process of the project, strengthened the management and control of the process, fully utilized time, pushed on project schedule. In whole the project, there was no condition of deferred schedule due to details of installation and goods supply, meanwhile qualified de-salted water was prepared within the specified time, laying a foundation for smooth implementation of follow-up work.
It is reported that 2nd Phase Binhai extension project has been listed into Zhejiang Province important project of extending effective investment, the total investment reached to ￥ 3000.94 million, planning to establish four units of 50 MW- level heat supply sets of extract backpressure type, with synchronous construction of denitration and desulphurization facilities; fuel coal will be transported to the wharf of the power plant through iron-water combined transport. After putting into operation, the project will form gas supply ability of 1300 ton / h. The project’s implementation will generate better social benefit, environmental benefit and economic benefit, and will play an important role in optimizing energy source structure, improving environmental quality and sustainable development of low carbon economy.
